The JCP-LGM Ringelmann blackness meter is an instrument for measuring the blackness level of smoke by using the Ringelmann smoke concentration map. It shrinks the standard Ringelmann smoke concentration map commonly used in various countries on a piece of glass, and compares it with the actual smoke observed from the telescope to determine the blackness level of the smoke. It has the characteristics of fast, simple and high preparation, and can be widely used in the determination of smoke blackness of environmental protection departments and industrial and mining enterprises in various places.
